Physical activity and the return to school
Lockdown has been tough for young people.
Making physical activity part of the school day, every day, will help young people settle into school-based learning, and help to undo some of the negative impacts of lockdown.
We have created some free resources, including short e-learning modules to support all school staff, senior leaders and governors to understand the benefits that making physical activity part of every day can have. How it can improve pupil's health, including mental health as well as other aspects that can improve their learning behaviours and outcomes. It also provides practical information of how to maximise the resource already available to schools.
